From veterans of the Falklands War and WW2 to those who continue to play a vital role in service to Britain today, Remembrance is marked on the 11th of November each year. On Remembrance Sunday services are held up and down the country, commemorating the sacrifice and service of so many who have kept our country safe. It’s also the time of year that the annual Poppy Appeal takes place.
The 2022 Poppy Appeal campaign has now launched. Poppy Appeal collectors will be distributing poppies across the United Kingdom and yesterday even Prime Minister Rishi Sunak was spotted at rush hour selling poppies outside Westminster Tube Station.
