Kamal Patel

Kamal Patel has a strong technical background, having worked for the likes of Nortel Network, Reuters, Goldman Sachs, as well as holding a key position as Head of IT at Hamilton Capital before starting his own software consulting business. Joining Optiseller seems to be the next natural progression in his journey in delivering great software solutions.

My love for software started at a young age, programming games on the Amstrad CPC-464 in the late 80’s. I’ve spent 25+ years delivering software solutions and collaborated with some amazing people along the way. Optiseller’s commitment to quality data is part of what attracted me to the company, and I am delighted to now be part of a team dedicated to making store optimisation accessible to sellers of all sizes.

Tricia Wilson

Optiseller’s new Marketing Manager, Tricia Wilson is an SEO, marketing and data specialist, who has previously worked with Yard, Tangible and Bigmouthmedia (Digitas).

I started my career working as an SEO account manager within Bigmouthmedia where I discovered my love for digital marketing before moving on to end-to-end digital campaigns and web builds at Tangible. There, I grew my knowledge around more traditional marketing models.

I left Tangible to have my two boys then freelanced at a mix of agencies before jumping back into an in-house marketing role. I then moved to Yard, a marketing and data agency in Edinburgh as Senior Account Manager working on some interesting brands, projects and strategies. The team there really helped to shape the marketer that I am today. I then left to have my baby girl before joining Optiseller. It’s a very exciting time for data and e-commerce and I’m delighted to be joining such an ambitious company and passionate team. I can’t wait to help support the company’s growth in the years to come.

Laura Cassidy

Laura Cassidy joined the company’s growing marketing team this month. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Laura moved to Scotland almost a decade ago to complete her Master’s in International Marketing at Edinburgh Napier. She has worked in marketing for the past 7 years, most recently as a Senior Marketing Executive at Fitwise Management. Laura is looking forward to taking on her next challenge and creating engaging and helpful content for Optiseller users.

It’s inspiring to see how Optiseller has evolved over the past few years, and I am looking forward to being a part of a team of individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact within the world of e-commerce. Content and design are my passion and I am excited to put these skills to action with a company with such positive ethos.
