How to make delivery and returns to the EU friction-free

How to make post-Brexit delivery and returns to the EU friction-free

Since the Trade Co-operation Agreement landed on 24th December 2020, UK ecommerce has gone into post-Brexit shock as they come to terms with the reality of dealing with customs borders between the UK and rest of EU.

In just the first week of January alone, parcel volumes from the UK to the EU were down 25% compared to the same period the year before. Border friction ranged from long delays and extra costs due to extra processing of parcels, parcels being rejected by customs due to incorrect or missing customs declarations or worse still being rejected by EU customers who are refusing to pay additional customs charges to receive their goods.

Now a fifth of UK SME’s have reportedly stopped exporting to the EU altogether as they try to find the right tools and expertise they need to get their heads around the new rules and regulations to reduce border friction and cost.

Join this webinar for an update on shipping to the EU and how to streamline your business.

You’ll also see a short introduction and demo to the type of tools that can streamline your operations – GFS ‘Brexit software bundle’ – GFS Checkout with Duties and Tax calculator with GFS Selector and GFS Global Returns Pro to generate paperless customs declarations required with both outbound and inbound shipping. • Automatic calculation of Duties & Taxes on all products
  • Displaying ‘Duties & Taxes Paid’ (DTP) or ‘Duty At Place’ (DAP) prices to consumers at checkout
  • Electronic customs declarations/Paperless Trade on outbound shipments
  • Customs codes and declarations for Duty relief on inbound returns

RegisterJoin this webinar, taking place on Tuesday the 23rd of March at 11am, to see how this GFS toolkit can help take the pain out of post-Brexit delivery and returns as well as open up a whole new world of multi-carrier services and ecommerce markets for your business.
