With less than 40 days until the UK is due to leave the EU, goods vehicle operators must ensure they are fully prepared for a possibility of no-deal Brexit.
To provide hauliers with the information they need to keep their EU-UK operations running as smoothly as possible, FTA has launched a series of free half-day workshops, taking place throughout September and October 2019 in venues across the UK. The workshops are funded by the Department for Transport (DfT), which has chosen FTA to help educate hauliers on the new procedures and trading conditions under a No Deal Brexit.

The move will see 100 free workshops taking place at locations in the UK including Belfast, London and Coventry to cover the following:
- Brexit update.
- Overview of No-Deal Brexit impact on international haulage.
- New border procedures and haulier responsibilities to maintain business continuity.
- Practical considerations for a No-Deal Brexit and a step-by-step guide for hauliers to prepare.
- Overview of new documentation requirements for goods vehicle operators.
- Overview of documentation for goods vehicle drivers.
- Overview of documents for goods vehicles and trailers.
- Other haulage business no-deal planning considerations.
- End to end process.
